Lacey has a gessoed and painted cloth face, stitched fingers on a mitten style hand and stitched toes. Her hair as pictured is made with mohair stitched, braided and glued to the head. Included in pattern is dress and apron patterns, detailed instruction for doll along with color photos. Lacey's body construction has jointed swing arms and legs with stitched elbows and knees. Her torso, including head, is two pieces and is a thicker waisted child torso.

Paper pattern - $ 9.00
This sweet 24" doll is an antique lithograph doll. I have never seen another one. The dolls were purchased preprinted on fabric and sewn at home. There are over 28 darts in this doll to get the two flat pieces to be so full and rounded. Days were spent designing the pattern to make this reproduction doll. The Original doll was entirely in black and white and the color was added by the maker. The romper is a real child's romper.
Included in this pattern is the doll pattern with instructions for making the doll on any fabric of your choice. The pattern is traced onto fabric with an air or water erasable marker or colored pencil. Final lines are drawn with a permanent pen or marker. Also included is the pattern to make the romper complete with bunny design.
The photo at the bottom is the doll made with the pattern. The large doll has only slight coloring added. The smaller doll has more color to show what can be acheived with this pattern. To see what the doll looks like fully colored click here.
The 24" and 18" doll patterns are only available as a paper patterns as the pattern pieces have to be printed on oversize paper, the largest being 25" X 27". Patterns are shipped First Class mail.

Be advized that all patterns but the smallest are too large for average printers and would have to be taken to a copy store to be printed on oversized paper.
